We are pleased to announce that Micro Cotton has enhanced its product offerings with the launch of a new bath rug manufacturing facility this month.
The esteemed Indian bath and bedding manufacturer has strategically positioned its new plant adjacent to its existing factory. This state-of-the-art facility is equipped to produce high-quality tufted poly nylon bath rugs in both all-cut pile and multi-level cut patterns. Additionally, Micro Cotton has the capability to craft machine-made cotton bath rugs featuring latex backing.
The facility boasts an impressive initial production capacity of 30,000 rugs daily.
Mr. Vikram Krishna, Managing Director, emphasized the unique advantage this brings: “In our industry, only a select few manufacturers can produce both rugs and towels, coordinating them within a single facility. We’ve consistently heard from our retail partners that this has been a challenge for them.”
During the New York Home Fashions Market, Micro Cotton has been proudly showcasing coordinated towel and bath rug displays. Mr. Krishna noted, “Our common development lab gives us a distinct edge in creating cohesive collections.”
In addition to the rug facility, Micro Cotton is delighted to introduce two innovative towel constructions:
- The Sakura towel: This remarkable all-cotton product employs a patented technique to achieve the lustrous sheen typically associated with blended constructions. Mr. Krishna highlighted its practical benefits: “It maintains its quality after washing and produces minimal lint.”
- The Pure Plush towel: Described by Mr. Krishna as “the plushest towel in the world,” this all-cotton creation offers the impressive profile and loft of an 800 GSM towel while maintaining a surprisingly light weight. He added, “It combines comfort with practicality, drying efficiently in standard dryers.”
These developments represent Micro Cotton’s ongoing commitment to innovation and quality in home textiles.
